Bradford Beach with the PEEPS!

Limonsito went to the beach yesterday, but we forgot the camera and kite!? Soooo we did what anyone would do. We threw rocks into the water!? I skiped stones, while Limonsito tossed as far as he could. The kid's got an arm on him I tells ya! Mami attempted to throw (it was cute really). After playing with stones, Adriansito got bored and wanted to play in the water. Big mistake! So he rushed towards the incoming waves... and got splashed in the face! And that stoped his march into Lake Michigan.

He loved seeing the dogs and remarked at each one of them, (wau wau)! Or was that us? After the fun we got a bite to eat Kopps, which was scrumptious! SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! don't tell anyone, but Adriansito was drinkin Coke and Root beer, we know its bad; thanks 2020...but he had to join us in our calorie royal rumble. Cheese burgers with fries. No custard...we were too.

WE HAD A BLAST!

We're having a baby!

Just kidding... lol.. On Saturday my family had a church service in memory of my grandfather. He passed away on April 19 two years ago. This day holds a special place in my heart not only because of the memory of grandfather but because the day before he passed, April 18. I found out that I was going to be mother. We went to the doctor on the 18th and early 19th, I found out my abulelito passed away. It felt like there were too many things going on at once. Even though god was taking a life away from me, he was also giving me one. I thank him every day for all my blessings. Things happen in life that we can never expect. Whether it's loosing someone, seeing someone make mistakes, making the mistakes yourself or loosing your job. I must sound horrible but when I was pregnant. I thought, "o yeah ill love my baby". But never in a million years did I imagine that the second that I gave birth to him that I could love someone so much and so deeply. Just like that, like someone turned on a light switch. It was something that was sooo unexpected. I mean I knew I would love him but the amount of love was just sooo shocking. I repeat.. Things happen in life! But blessings come also whether it's a great life partner, great parents, great job, a baby. It may not be what was on your plan but they are still blessings.

On a lighter note another event that occurred on Saturday, Little Limon got his second hair cut. I know it hurts cutting off the curls. But I figured they'll grow back and his hair grows so fast. Plus I was growing scared that people thought that I never groomed my child because his hair was so long, curly and wild. Now Adriancito looked a spitting reflection of his father and like a little mini man. So cute. Here is the before pic...

And here are the after...

The curls will grow back.. Im sorry Im repeating myself, I just keep telling myself that because I miss his curls.

Easter Sunday!

We originally planned on waking up at 7:00 on Easter Sunday but due to a late night at Abe and Valarie's house on Saturday, we pressed the snooze button and woke up at 9:00 when church was at 10:00 a.m. After taking a shower and practically forcing big Adrian to wake up, we scrambled to get ready and made it in the parking lot of the church (St. Patricks) at 10:15 a.m. We walked in and discovered the service didn't start until 10:30 a.m. Ahh A big relief... I wanted to ask our priest to take a picture with lil limon but discovered that I forgot the camera. I tend to bribe little mister with juice and snacks when I need him to stay still. But when I ran out of resources and things got a little crowded in church, the little one started getting restless. We stayed for communion and left about not even 3 minutes before the church let out.

Abuelita Villegas

We headed for brunch at Abuelita Irma's house. A great feast we had in front of us thanks to Irma, Nati, and Leni (Limon's mom, sister and cousin). As they finished making our meal, everyone else kept eating random food laying around. Nati put out a dish of finished bacon and after about 15 minutes it was fully consumed and we still hadn't started eating. This picture was taken after it was already eaten. So much for eating some bacon.. jajaja. It was time for the prayer and Alexi lead us in it. Good job Alexi. We ate until we were stuffed, little limon was misbehaving so he had a couple time outs. Grandma gave little limon his easter gifts. Everyone sat around and talked, then we popped in Marley and Me, which by the way is a great movie.

The Guys joking around the table.

Little Alani Posing for the
Camera! I know it's a little dark.

Big Adrian took a quick nap and then it was time to go, we said our goodbyes and hopped in the car. I had planned on asking everyone to huddle up for a group pic but remembered as we were headed towards my parents. I forgot! Next time for sure.

Abuelitos Moran

We arrived at my parents home and immediately Limon saw my daddy's new ATV. So happy he said "Your dad got an ATV, Can I drive it? Can I drive it?". lol Little Adriancito took a 1 hour and 1/2 nap and in the meanwhile we ate and Adrian drove the ATV. Once Adriancito woke up and everyone else arrived (My brother, sister, aunts and uncles) , my sis and aunt hid the eggs and we started our egg hunt.

Even though it was cold and windy, Adriancito was having the time of his life.. he was so happy and me and Big Adrian had probably the equal amount of happiness in our faces.. The egg hunt was definitely fun.. the baby running randomly in the back yard and papi, mami and emilio (my nephew) finding the eggs for him. In all, I think he found about 5 or 6 eggs.

Afterwards we attempted to get all the children together to take a group picture.. more my sister was attempting.. but all the kids ran away because they didn't want get caught on camera being uncool doing an egg hunt on easter. lol.. All the children scattered and we were unsuccessful. Lets just say my picture taking was unsuccessful overall on easter. We ended the evening just mingling and I was very tired after running after Lil Limon all day, disciplining him and feeding him, I was exausted. We were home by 9:30 p.m.

Our Little Mister Limon

Hello everyone!! I'm sorry it took so long to get our blog up and running but we have been busy, this web page is dedicated to our little Limoncito. For those of you who are not familiar with the name Limon, Adrian's childhood nickname is Limon so therefore, our little one is known as little limon. Anyway, we hope that through our blog we share adriancito's new and exciting childhood memories, as he grows and as our family grows and changes. Today Adriancito is 1 year and 4 months and growing fast. We have received lots of comments that he is big for his age and my arms agree. Lets just say he's not the lightest baby around. jajaja. His favorite past times are dancing with his chanclas on, wrestling with papi, playing with pelotas, giving besitos and eating anything that comes his way (especially fruit). His dislikes are taking baths and that's pretty much it. It's hard to believe that our baby is getting so big... beginning to talk and mimick us.. not to mention run away when he knows he's in trouble.. I will be posting things from the past and present.. so you guys should be hearing from me soon.
