Yes, he's rough around the edges! He doesn't focus entirely during the game and doesn't run for the ball too much. My baby is also smart, he knows that if he gets the ball he's going to be an open target for the other kids so he'll kick the ball and then stays back to make sure he's not gonna get hurt. However he's already experienced his first warrior wound because he and another boy were not paying attention and bumped heads. He was carried off the field but he got through it and immediately wanted to go back into the game. Right now he stands as the youngest and smallest of his team but he's the also the funniest usually making all the parents laugh because he's usually on the other side of the field chasing his shadow!
This photo doesn't do it justice it was really swollen and by the time we got home it was black and blue.
Looking at the camera instead of trying to score a goal.
His favorite part is when they huddle up and cheer CHIVITAS! His teams name! On Another note our summer has been great but a little rain wouldn't hurt, it's so dry.
We know that his soccer career is just beginning! Jajaja! But I don't care if the teams loses all of their games as long as he enjoys his time out there and it's a good experience for him. There is no real life version of the movie Kicking and Screaming here! Im so proud of my little boy!
