Birthday Numero Cuatro!

Since I told lil Limon a month ago that it was almost his birthday, the sight of every cake or presence at a party has always made him ask me non-stop, “es mi birthday?”

For his birthday we once again chose a last minute little party to Chuck-E-Cheese and best of all on Black Friday to avoid as much of a crowd as possible. Between the pizza, tokens and cake it was heaven for the kids.

When putting the crown on him he asked if he was a king. Then two minutes later he asked, “yo soy king leon” (we recently purchased The Lion King).

I see the Limón in him in this picture.

I know it was very last minute, telling family at thanksgiving the day before but thanks to all for the birthday wishes and gifts.

On his actual birthday he celebrated at school by taking an ice cream cake to share with his classroom. Picture quality is bad but something is better than nothing. I left work a little early trying to catch them singing to him. As I walked through the door they were lighting the candles to the cake I dropped off in the morning.

I am really going to miss his three’s and it feels like the past year has gone by so quick. I can honestly say that these past 4 years have been the most challenging of my life but at the same time the greatest. We may not have a lot of money but I will never get tired of saying that we are so blessed. I love my two men.
